How To Have Fun With Baby Shower Trivia Game
A baby shower trivia game shows how well the guests know the mother-to-be. This game can be quite humorous as the guests compare stories and facts about the mother-to-be or about babies in general. It’s very easy to create your own personalized game by making up the questions yourself. Here’s how to play this baby shower game: First, you’ll need several (about 10) prepared baby shower trivia questions. These can be serious or humorous. It’s not at all hard to come up with questions for the game. Just contact the mother-to-be's friends and family and ask them to provide some loving and humorous facts about her. Then you can add some other general questions about the babies in general. If you want to get fancy, print up the questions on some pretty paper and pass them out to the guests when it’s time to play the game. Sample trivia game questions about the mother-to-be: o What name has the mother-to-be chosen for the baby?
o Is the mother-to-be hoping for? A boy or girl?
o What color is the baby’s room?
o What odd or weird foods has the mother-to-be been craving during her pregnancy?
o What is her exact due date? Sample baby shower trivia game questions about babies in general: o What can a baby do that an adult can’t? Answer: Breathe and swallow at the same time.
o How many diapers does the average baby use until potty trained? Answer: 7,500.
o What was the weight of the heaviest baby ever born? Answer: 24 lbs.
o What was the weight of the lightest baby ever born? Answer: 10 ounces.
o How old was the oldest woman ever to give birth? Answer: 66 years. Next, you’ll need a couple of wrapped presents as prizes for this baby shower game. The hostess poses a question to the entire group. The first person to shout out a correct answer gets one of the gifts. She asks another question and awards the second gift to the person who answers correctly. Then she asks another question and the person who answers correctly gets to "steal" a gift from one of the previous winners. When all the questions are asked, the last two people who have the gifts get to keep them. This game is sure to get the guests buzzing with possible answers. As the guests share possible answers with each other, they’ll get better acquainted. And isn’t that the point of the baby shower trivia game, and especially of the shower itself? |
